On 12th November, GAN New Zealand will officially launch at the 16th annual NZ Vocational Education and Training Research Forum (NZVETRF).

Hosted by The Skills Organization, GAN New Zealand will be the sixteenth country network to join the GAN global partnership, in support of work-based learning and apprenticeships.

The NZVETRF is where experts discuss critical issues, share research, present evidence, as well as inform policy makers about ‘what works’ in vocational education. This year’s forum will be held in a virtual environment mimicking the in-person experience. It gives participants choice in which speakers they’d like to listen to and allows them to meet in breakout sessions and networking lounges with people from across the industry.

Executive Director of the Global Apprenticeship Network, Nazrene Mannie, will join the NZVETRF as a keynote speaker alongside other well-established professionals of the VET community. At NZVETRF, GAN New Zealand will be welcoming members and strategic partners to the network and confirming their initial focus areas.  Like NZVETRF, GAN New Zealand will be a genuinely cross-sector network for educators and industry players in support of work-based learning and apprenticeships.
